The real estate market is on what’s everybody’s mind these days. From future homebuyers, people with underwater mortgages, economists to realtors and everyone in between. The Salt Lake City moving specialists realize that there’s a lot of contradicting information on there with various views on the actual present situation. It was even reported that the numbers in home sales since 2007 were wrong, that home sales were in fact less. The National Association of Realtors released new data lately that showed that in 2007, there were actually 11% less home sales than previously reported, 16% less for the following two years and 15% fewer in 2010. For this past November, just two months ago, the National Association of Realtors reported that the average home price was $164,200, lower by 3.5% compared to 2010. Distressed home sales represented 29% of all sales in the month of November, investors made up 19% of homebuyers and 35% made up the first-time homebuyer group. In terms of regions, the Salt Lake City movers found out that in the northeast, home sales grew by 9.8%, in the Midwest home sales increased by 4.3%, in the south by 2.4% and in the west home sales rose by 3.6%.
